As you might have known or heard Yee and I were out of town the past two weekends for two weddings. The San Diego trip was the one I was looking forward to because Yee's parents were there and I knew more people at this wedding. We stayed a total of 5 days and it was pretty much party after party. I just want thank all you San Diegans for making me feel so welcomed and part of the gang. I had a blast with you guys. Sam and Trevor, I want to thank you two for introducing Star Muchkin to my life -- I think I've had two or three dreams about it already. To sum up what we did for 5 days...eat...sleep...and play Star Munchkin...oh yeah and went to Cindy and Daniel's wedding of course.  

Being down here with Yee's friends makes me miss those days when I had a big group of believers and we'd do almost everything together. Sadly, I haven't had that for about 6 years. I know this visit was special because the wedding brought everyone together who normally live out of town, but it's that sense of nothing being lost and friendships being sustained through time. I love that! I miss that.

Samantha, Trevor, Maryanne, Sam, Pam, David, Candy, Simon, Dave, Alex, and all you other San Diegans that I met and reacquainted with thank you for reminding me of what true friendships are -- you can bring in the old memories and create new memories together. Regardless of time or distance, you start right where you left off.
